Reclaimed Cypress Shelf Art + Board

This is an extra special project. Made with a piece of reclaimed cypress, salvaged from the wreckage of Hurricane Michael in Panama City, Florida. A couple sat under this tree for decades before it was knocked down in the storm. Originally planned to be a shelf, but the client loved it so much it was ultimately hung as a piece of art! Plus coordinating board. Cast in a translucent white resin river to highlight the twists & turns of this beautiful cypress.
