Walnut & Resin Sunglasses for Johnny Fly

Johnny Fly recently celebrated their 10 year anniversary, so when I travelled to Charlotte NC for their anniversary party, I wanted to make my small biz friends something special. I have 15+ pairs of Johnny Fly sunglasses, they're truly my favorite - made of recycled materials & they fit my face better than any frame I've ever owned. So I decided to make my favorite frame, called Figure, out of walnut & resin! No CNC machinery used, shape cut on a bandsaw, lenses were hand routered & filled with black resin. Logo was inscribed with a Dremel. Many different techniques implemented to make this piece. Now, it will live forever in the Johnny Fly offices!
